Meet Georgie Porgie!

This handsome “teenager”

Is up for adoption. He is between 7-9months old. We hope his story will be one from sadness to gladness!

It all began when his rescued spotted him going up and down a street aimlessly and carelessly for 3 days in a row.. thinking he’s a lost dog, she took her in. He is very clean and from his nails, likely has never been outside the house his entire life. It’s been two weeks and now the rescuer realises he is abandoned, as despite coloured posters being put up all over the neighbourhood; and walking him all over and asking everyone.. he is unfamiliar to all around. 😣

He is at the age though, where lazy negligent pawrents who don’t go for training with their pets, nor read up on dog training, abandon their pets.

The juvenile stage is where puppies are almost their full size and their energy is boundless; and without training, they love to jump and mouth! They are playful and don’t know their strength.

One thing about Georgie Porgie is that he is very trainable! Within 2 sessions, he has mastered the sit command!

Originally he was terrified of being leashed and harnessed and it took the rescuer 15minutes the first time. However, it got easier with each subsequent walks/outings , and now he is very cooperative as he has associated leash & harness with adventures outdoors.

It also just took 2 days for him to learn where is his feeding spot and boundaries; and even with the door open, he stays at his spot as not to disturb the reacuer’s own dogs, who are not very tolerant of a young dog.

He has been at the rescue home for 2 weeks now and has proven to be a good watchdog, well-behaved, fast learner, stable and very very manja!!!

If you have the time to spare for a young dog, and would take him on adventures or spend time cuddling with him, please give the rescuer a buzz.

Second Chance
