GRAPHIC IMAGES ⚠️ We simply cannot imagine the pain Orkus must have been in. This adorable boy deserves so much better than a short life of suffering on the streets. Please, if you can, help today: https://links.soidog.org/save-dogs-like-orkus

This three-year-old boy is a victim of unjust cruelty. His leg got caught in a wild pig snare. As you can see, Orkus’ leg had already turned purple by the time he came to Soi Dog. It was necrotic and full of maggots. There was tragically no way to save it. It was an emergency situation; he was rushed into surgery, so the leg could be amputated before the infection spread any further.

Although this tale is incredibly sad, the good news is that Orkus has since recovered well from the amputation and hopefully soon, will be healthy enough to find a new home. Never again will he be scared, alone and in danger of harm on the streets. And this is only thanks to people like you who donate to save lives.

Orkus’ story reminds us of the terrible threats street dogs face every day. We cannot be there for dogs like Orkus without you. Your kindness is the reason Orkus’ life was saved and that he now has the chance of a better future. Without your donations, there is nowhere for dogs like him to go. Please help us take care of Orkus and the many more dogs in urgent need: https://links.soidog.org/save-dogs-like-orkus
