MATILDA FLIES TO CANADA!
A few days ago the lovely “Matilda” flew to Vancouver, Canada to meet her new mum “Marie”. Apparently Matilda’s settling in beautifully! The photo shows Matilda just a day after her arrival, still tired from her flight & curled up in her new companion’s bed (Dora – the cat)! Marie has 2 rescue cats & says Matilda & the cats are adjusting well to each other. The cats are curious about Matilda, but nothing more & they are living together in harmony.

Marie says “Matilda is such a lovely little girl, so gentle and trusting. I am so happy to have her in my life”

Marie took Matilda on a trip to the pet store shortly after arrival. She says Matilda charmed all four of the sales staff & especially touched the heart of a lady that fitted her for a new pink rain/snow coat. Matilda also had no idea how to climb the stairs in the house when she arrived, but has apparently mastered them quickly.

The two were planning a walking trip through the nearby forest today, but as you can see by the photo Matilda was still tuckered out from her long journey, so the forest walk is postponed till tomorrow!

Huge thanks to Marie for giving Matilda a brand new life. We wish the two of you much happiness together.

Soi Dog has many more dogs just like Matilda awaiting new homes! Please check our adoption galleries here http://www.soidog.org/en/adoptions/
