We had two sad incidents this week. One of our senior dogs Ebony died of old age and another doggo Rosie collapsed and died. While Ebony died in his sleep, Rosie collapsed in the early hours of the morning and died in spite of tge workers trying to revive her. We were not surprised with Ebony’s death as he was facing some health issues that came with old age but we were shocked with Rosie’s death. We checked her body for puncture wounds to ensure she was not bitten by snakes. Her gums were also healthy. We wanted a post-mortem but was told by the vet that it has to be conducted within 2 hours after death to clearly determine cause. Both have been cremated by our regular doggo undertakers Pet Memorial Services. May their souls rest in peace.

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
