From Humble Beginnings...

Half a million sterilisations since 2003.

Spay and neutering has been Soi Dog Foundation’s focus since we began operations in 2003. Even though we are so proud to be running the largest spay and neuter programme for stray animals, in the world, our beginnings were very humble.

In 2003, John, Gill and Margot with the help of local vets and volunteers neutered and vaccinated 175 dogs and cats. In 2020 our mobile teams sterilsed over 108,000.

The success of the programme is down to many factors, but there is no way all of this would have been possible without your generosity, which has saved thousands and thousands from being born into a world of suffering.

Thailand is home to an estimated 10 million street dogs alone, so this is just the tip of the iceberg but, as our co-founder John Dalley says, we have to start somewhere.

You can also donate towards our CNVR programme and also help us to care for the hundreds of animals in our shelter via our YouTube fundraiser. It is secure and easy.

Spay and neutering is the most humane and sustainable way forward to create a better world for our companion animals.

Be a part of an everlasting change.
