RESCUE OF THE YEAR

Just 10 weeks ago this little dog named Minnie was rescued during our raid of a deeply neglectful shelter in Romania. She was terrified and trying to protect herself. She had no idea that the people who were handling her had come to help.

Look at Minnie now. She’s found her boy in this world. His name is Vincent and he and his family live in Germany. They adopted her and have been quick to show her that she belongs.

“Minnie instantly wanted to be with their little boy, kissing him and is sleeping on his bed,” explains Debbie Evans who is the mastermind behind all the adoptions and foster placements for the dogs we save in Romania.

Mini now has a yard to play in, a family who loves her and she can sleep without fear. She adores every game, every treat and every cuddle. She is loved the way she should have been for so long. She is one of thousands upon thousands whose lives were transformed this year because of you.

However you spend these remaining days of 2021, please think of Minnie. If it weren’t for you, she would be cold and hungry with nowhere to sleep but the ground inside her crowded outdoor kennel. She reminds us of what is possible when we all pull together.
