Lose The Battle But Win The War? (Sunsuper Dreams)

This IS an imperfect world.
At 5.00am this morning, two of my friends informed me that the Kenyan Dream has overtaken us. They have pumped in 3000 votes in 2 days (around the clock!), certainly a very extraordinary feat that we simply cannot match. I believe most of our friends and supporters have already voted and they have also forwarded the link to practically all their contacts too.
As the adage goes, “May the best man wins” and this holds true in any contest, and we can only hope that the “best man” is indeed the best. And being the best means one has played the game fairly and according to its rules.
The Kenyan Dream has, in this one month:
1. Been taken off the contest earlier on.
2. Had its votes reduced by about 2800 on 23rd January.
3. Had its vote again reduced by about 620 a few days later.
That is THREE times being penalised, yet it is still allowed to remain in the contest.
Well, what they do is none of our business.
But we have one more day to go.
Let’s not go down without a fight, folks.
We have come THIS far, we have garnered votes legitimately, played by the rules, put in so much efforts. Let’s run this last mile with everything we’ve got until we reach the finishing line, and if the organisers still declare the Kenyan Dream to be the winner, that would be their prerogative.
If you have any contact whom you have not sent the link to, please help us by doing it now.
This is no longer about the money; it is about doing the best we can, in this imperfect world, and standing by truth, fairplay and honesty, and never giving up on these virtues, never mind what others do.
Indeed, “May the best man wins”.

Please remember to click on the link in the verification email sent to your mailbox in order for your vote to be counted.
To all who have helped, supported and stood by us in these 30 days of this contest, we thank you with all our heart.
Ultimately, it is always the journey that counts and what we have gained along the way.
What touches me most in these few days is when I forward the link to some of my contacts, they reply saying they have already voted because someone else had already forwarded it to them. Some reply saying that the email has flooded their mailbox, sent by so many others. Strangers write to say, “You really have so many good friends and supporters”. Acquaintances whom I have not heard from for years, write in to say, “I have already voted!”. Old friendships are renewed. It’s a nice feeling, really.
For all this, we have already “won” – and I’m talking about something more than just money!
Thank you, everyone!
