Ghythri saw a pitiful dog recently amd has gone all out to rescue the dog. The doggo, she has named Belle, had a broken leg, injured paw and was also severely underweight. Ghythri also saw Belle being chased by a man who appeared to want to beat her up. After a few tries to catch Ghythri managed to capture Belle and sent her to Gasing. It was then that she noticed that Belle was peeing a lot of blood. The vet at Gasing also said Belle had back, leg and nerve injury which is old. Belle has been treated for bladder infection in Gasing. Ghythri has been asked to discharge doggo as the clinic needs the space. Belle has been spayed as her ear is notched. She has found another vet for Belle to recuperate and be vaccinated. The new vet Kristy’s Ark wants upfront payment. The amount tequired minus the spaying is RM1,452. Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
