More News On Blackey, Sporo Cat From Kedah (Sha�s)

Dear Dr Chan,

It’s hard for me to put into words how grateful I am for your help and��and the vet’s willingness to help Blackey. I suspect another spot of sporo on her body but can’t yet confirm whether it is involved the same disease or not. And yesterday I saw a bump under her belly (stiches from last surgery). I talked to the government doctor and he said most probably the dead tissue from the last surgery. I feel so sad I can’t bear to see her suffer like this. I got frustrated to hear that, not sure it was a doc�s error or the dead tissue has developed naturally.

Here is the chronology:

1.�������5th Dec 2011-Blackey delivered 2 kittens at 6pm. She showed clear signs of anxiety on a third push.

2.�������6^th�Dec 2011-Sent Blackey to vet and did an emergency operation to remove a dead kitten left in the womb. Spaying was performed too.

3.�������13^th�December 2011-Sent Blackey again to the vet..the liquid came out, it looked like it was liquid and puss and a little yellowish coming out heavily from the stiches. Doctor said it was a dead tissue (lack of antibiotics). Surgery was performed to fix it.

4.�������15^th�Dec, 2011-antibiotic injection by a vet. I saw a small cut on her nose, asked the doctor and he prescribed me an iodine (yellow), he said nothing to worry. I applied the ubat everyday on her nose.

5.�������13^th�Jan, 2012-Sent to a vet, both kittens were weak. A few hours later, one of the kitten died.

6.�������19^th�Jan, 2012-Sent Blackey to a vet because after a month I saw no sign of healing. He suspected sporo disease. I asked a help from the vet to taking care of her due to CNY holiday. I had 9 days break in total.

7.�������27^th�Jan, 2012-Picked her up and I saw the wound was bigger than before. The doctor told me, he could tell ada dead tissue from the last surgery and need to be removed. BUT he said he can help to remove it BUT must be sporo-free.��Under 1st Sporanox medication that evening.

I am still waiting for my friends to confirm about the transportation. Most of them agreed at first but cancelled in a last minute. I wish I could drive myself and not seeking help for others. What a life! But it is difficult for 6 hours drive with a cat. I will let you know so soon.
