Its World Mountain Day. Malaysias Mountains Not On..

Malaysia’s mountains not only provide us with drinking water but they are also home to many plants and animals – some that can only be found here and nowhere else in the world. Like the Malaysian Partridge and the Titiwangsa Horned Tree Lizard.

Sadly our mountains have been under stress due to excessive development and pollution.

What can you do?

Always throw away your rubbish in the right places when you hike or visit these mountains. Do not litter.

Volunteer for waterfall and river clean ups. This keeps our rivers clean and will prevent flash floods and soil erosion.

Support responsible eco-tourism on the mountains as this will ensure that these amazing giants will be looked after responsibly.
