Sunshine�s Updates

Based on the vet’s advice when we brought Sunshine to him yesterday, there is no need to test Sunshine for heartworms (because she is still young, estimated to be below 1 year old) to start her on Heartgard.

We offered the choice of using Revolution, Advocate or Heartgard and Lydia decided just Heartgard would do since Sunshine is not in an environment which has ticks.

We’ve sponsored her Heartgard for 6 months at RM60 per pack.

The vet said to test her for heartworms after 7 months from now since that would be the lifecycle of the heartworm.

Sunshine can also already be spayed, but there is no hurry yet. We will wait for a date when Lydia is ready to bring her.

Meanwhile, our girl is up for adoption, so please help spread the word that Sunshine is looking for a good forever home!
