Dear all,

A rescuer approached us about the plight of these puppies in Shah Alam. There are 10 of them. Apparently a private dog catcher comes and leaves the puppies for people to adopt and take home. However, the land is being demolished now and the puppies are in a lurch. We are on the way to take them but cannot send them to our place as they have to be quarantined. We have a boarding place which is asking RM100 a day for all 10 puppies. We need to quarantine them for 14 days and that comes up to RM1,400. The clinic is also charging RM125 for each puppy for parvo and distemper tests as well as deworming. That comes up to RM1,250. Please help us save their lives. Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
