This green paddy frog was found sitting on a leaf during a random afternoon. This medium-sized frog has smooth skin and can grow up to eight cm long. It has a green and brown body, and also a yellow stripe behind the eyes. The frog lives near marshes, lakes, rivers, and also ponds.

The frog plays a central role in a myriad of ecosystems, besides controlling the population of insects, they are also a food source for larger predators like snakes, birds and fish.
