Yogi somehow survived on the unforgiving streets of Phuket for some 10 years. When she arrived at Soi Dog, she was clearly exhausted. Her skin was in a terrible condition: crusty and covered in ticks. She could barely see a thing, she was severely anaemic and her ears were completely full of wax. You can see from the photos that she was utterly desperate for some help.

Despite her bleak condition, the vets believed she could be helped. And thankfully, because of animal lovers like you who donate for dogs like her, Yogi got the long-awaited care she needed. She will need ongoing treatment for her eyes, medicated baths and medication for her anaemia. But thankfully, our lovely Yogi has come along in leaps and bounds – just look at her lovely coat that has grown back! 🐕👏

Old girls like Yogi deserve to be loved and protected. But as this current crisis continues, so many older pups have never needed safety more. They require care, shelter and treatment. Yogi will most likely live out her days here at Soi Dog. But we can’t turn our backs on them; they deserve to be shown the love they have never had before.
