Despite the ongoing Covid-19 crisis, our Community Outreach and Education teams are continuing with their impressive work. 💪

Our Humane Education team is back in full swing, having visited 11 schools and reaching a total of 1,570 children in September and October! This achievement came at the perfect time, with our shelter’s Education Centre set to open its doors this month. 🥳

In addition, the Community Outreach teams treated a record number of animals across Phuket, including at the government pound, with a total of 2,726 treatments administered over the two months. This brings their total number of treatments this year to over 8,000 – a staggering 80% increase compared to this time last year!

But there’s still much more to be done. More communities to reach. More schools to visit. More municipalities to collaborate with. Growing our Community Outreach and Education programmes is our best hope of educating for a change in beliefs and creating a brighter future for the animals of Thailand and beyond. Soi Dog Foundation

Established in 2003 in Phuket, Thailand, Soi Dog is Southeast Asia's largest organisation helping stray animals. The Gill Dalley sanctuary in Phuket is home to over 1,600 animals. Soi Dog also has a treatment facility in Bangkok and responds to crisis situations throughout Thailand.
