As the host of the upcoming Climate Summit in Glasgow next year, the UK Government has a strong interest in the climate mitigation and adaptation benefits of Nature Based Solutions to protect biodiversity and people, and the meeting was used as an avenue to explore potential collaborations with WWF-Malaysia in the area.
Among those who joined the lunch were His Excellency, Mr Charles Hay (High Commissioner); Mr Andrew Bowes (Political Counsellor – External), Ms Allison Collingridge (Head of Marketing and GREAT Campaign); and Mr Muru Loganathan (Energy and Climate Change Advisor).
Representing WWF-Malaysia were Ms Sophia Lim (Executive Director/ CEO); Dr. Henry Chan (Conservation Director); Ms. Rozzana Basri (Director of Communications and Marketing); and Ms Lavanya Rama Iyer (Head of Policy and Climate Change).
