WWF-Malaysia is pleased to note that the Malaysian Budget 2021, themed “Resilient as One, Together We Triumph”, has for the first time announced a budget that is aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to revitalise the economy and achieve a more resilient future for all Malaysians. We are encouraged to see that environmental considerations have been embedded in the Three Integral Goals , and we hope that they will be accounted for in all future development initiatives. We are also pleased that the initiatives have involved civil society at large.
