Snares are simply awful and cruel. Just look at the terrible agony one trap inflicted on Daonapa. It only took a second for the trap to go off, but that moment has changed Daonapa forever. This five-year-old girl’s leg must have been caught in the snare for several days. Her paw had started to rot. Tragically, there was no way to save her leg and it had to be amputated. But we are very pleased to tell you that beautiful Daonapa is adapting SO well to being a tri-paw pup. She is so brave! 💪

There has sadly been an increase in snare cases during this crisis. In fact, Daonapa was one of four dogs who arrived within a two-week period with horrific snare wounds.
