Graphic images ⚠ His name might be Sunbright, but this beautiful kitty was going through an extremely dark and terrifying time when he arrived into Soi Dog’s care. This little boy simply wouldn’t have survived much longer on the streets. He was so weak and sick. Fortunately, our Care for Cats Club members enabled Sunbright’s rescue, but right now, there are so many other cats who are sick and injured. And they need help too. We are so grateful for any help you can give these kitties. Every gift really does make a difference and helps to save a life, just like Sunbright’s. https://links.soidog.org/care-for-cats-like-Sunbright

Although Sunbright had someone feeding him in his community, this sadly does not prevent terrible things from happening to street cats. Poor Sunbright was bitten on his cheek – perhaps by a dog. The wound was very deep and must have been extremely painful. He needed urgent help. Then, unfortunately, as soon as he arrived at Soi Dog, the vets discovered that Sunbright had FeLV – a horrible, highly contagious feline disease. When cats like Sunbright are as sick as he was, it is extremely hard for them to recover.

He was coughing and sneezing so much, all while his fragile body was trying to heal the terrible wound on his face. It was touch and go, but we could see that this brave feline refused to give up. The turning point was about one month after he arrived, when he finally started purring and grooming himself again. And we are thrilled to say that he now looks like an entirely different cat. He is fluffy, friendly and feisty (in the best way possible) 😺. Although he has FeLV, he is strong and doing well and as you can see, super handsome.

Sadly, it is unlikely that Sunbright will be adopted. He cannot travel overseas due to him having FeLV, and like everywhere in the world, it can be a challenge to find a cat like him a suitable and loving home here in Thailand. Therefore, we need help from people like you to provide him with the best life possible here at Soi Dog. Will you help us do that? Our Care for Cats Club members are integral to the survival of cats like Sunbright. If you can, please go here https://links.soidog.org/care-for-cats-like-Sunbright and be their hero today.
