ADOPTION SPOTLIGHT: T’CHALLA (BLACK CAT AWARENESS MONTH)

Behold, friends! I’m T’Challa, named after the toughest Black Panther (tribute to our superhero boss). Just like our leader, I am full of perseverance! I was rescued along the KPE tunnel, bleeding with multiple abrasion wounds after a suspected motor vehicle accident.

Yet here I am today, fit to be welcomed into your loving home. I suffered multiple hip fractures, which required surgery on my right hip. I’ll most likely continue limping a little on my right leg but that’s okay. I must be kept indoors at all times.

October is BLACK CAT AWARENESS MONTH! Sad to say, many black cats are the least adopted felines at the shelter. I am here to remind you that I will not bring you bad luck, and that you should embrace us for the love we bring to your home.
