Soi Dog Celebrates Global Cat Day!

October 16th is #GlobalCatDay and #FeralCatDay, both days pledges to save all cats (feral or tame) from being killed unnecessarily and ensure their welfare through education and humane methods to control population, worldwide. 🌏😻

Here at Soi Dog Foundation, Thanks to your generous donations, to this date, over 70,000 cats (26,361 in 2019/20) have been spayed and neutered as well as vaccinated against the deadly Rabies virus.

In addition, the shelter’s intake of cats for treatment has exceeded more than ever with 1,400 cats being admitted to the cat hospital, this year alone. During this year we have seen a big increase in cat’s being admitted to the Sanctuary with average per month for 2020 being 194 compared to a monthly average of 160 in 2019. Which demonstrates the need for our brand-new cat hospital which opened around this time last year. Take the virtual tour of Soi Dog’s cat hospital here: https://links.soidog.org/SoiDog-Cat-Hospital

Today we ask for your voice to speak up for the street cats that often times can be overlooked and discarded. As fearsome and independent as some may be, many still depend on us for their survival! From lifesaving treatment, rehabilitation to adoptions, thanks to your wonderful kindness, Soi Dog Foundation helps to save hundreds and hundreds of cats’ lives every single year.
