Sadly, Stunfisk’s story is an all-too-familiar one for many street dogs. He was badly injured but not taken to get the urgent help he needed. And by the time he arrived into our care, the damage was irreparable. Poor Stunfisk must have been in some kind of accident a long time ago and over time, the leg malformed into the terrible state you see today. This adorable boy must have suffered for so long.

The only solution to end his suffering was to amputate his leg. Fortunately, he is a young and otherwise healthy boy, so he should adapt and recover well. But with so many animals in our care as a result of the ongoing crisis, our shelter is overflowing with dogs like Stunfisk who have nowhere else to go.
