超可爱的 ‘’圈圈‘’ 是园区里的【特殊毛孩】
她今年新年的时候有来和大家拜过年噢
圈圈样貌可爱、看起来也正常，
但为什么被归类为特殊狗狗呢
圈圈是狗瘟战士，在它流浪的时候患了可怕的Distemper狗瘟，我们早前救了她，最后虽然幸运活了下来，但病毒却已破坏了她的脑神经 …
很多时候她都只能不由自主，一直在原地转圈圈 … 无法像其他狗狗一样随意控制行走的方向，所以我们叫她圈圈

但当你大声呼唤它『圈圈，过来~』，可爱的圈圈总是会努力锁定我们站的方向，一鼓作气的拼命跑直线过来撒娇
别的狗狗轻易就能做到的动作，我们知道圈圈却要费很大的力气，才能奔向我们 …
她无法过群体生活，因为她会一直不小心撞到其他狗狗而让它们不高兴，有的甚至会气得攻击她，所以我们把她安置在了暂时的 【特殊狗区】，她和全盲狗狗Kiwi是室友 🙂

当然，圈圈也不是一直都在转圈圈，在没那么兴奋时，她也会安静的站、坐着和躺着
健康的狗狗都很难找到人领养了，遑论是这样的特殊毛童 … 让它们一辈子住在园区、照顾到老，是我们已经预备好要承担的甜蜜负担
无论是残疾、或特殊毛童，
希望更多人可以关注到它们的存在，
它们需要更多的爱和帮助 🙏

The adorable ‘’Quan Quan” (means circle in Chinese) is one of the special needs furkid in HOPE shelter. She showed up in our CNY post this year to greet everyone, remember her?
Quan quan looks cute and normal,
But why is she classified as a special needs dog?
Quan quan is a Distemper survivor. When she was living on the street before, she was infected with Distemper virus badly. Although she was lucky to survive after we rescued her, but the virus had destroyed her brain nerves …
Whenever she was out of the cage for walk, most of the time she can only involuntarily, keep going around in circles … she can’t control the direction of walking like other dogs, that’s why we name her Quan Quan.

But when we call her …”Quan quan, come here”, the lovely Quan quan will always try to focus on the direction where we are standing, working hard to run straight to us and ask for a pat on head.
Other actions that can be easily done by other dogs, we know that it takes a lot of effort for Quan quan to run towards us …
She cannot live in group because she will always accidentally bump into other dogs and make them frustrated, and some dogs will even attack her, so we placed her in a temporary ‘’Special Needs Dog Zone‘’, she and the completely blind dog – Kiwi is a roommate 🙂

Of course, Quan quan is not always going around in circles whole day long. When she is not so excited, she will sit and lie quietly.
It’s already hard for a healthy dog to look for a home, let alone such a special furkid … Letting them live in HOPE for the rest of their lives and take care of them is a sweet burden that we have prepared to bear.
Whether it’s a disabled or a special needs pet, we hope more people can show great concern for their existence.
They definitely need more love and help 🙏
