SPCA RESCUES

This cat was found lying in the middle of Race Course Road late at night despite heavy vehicles passing by. One driver managed to stop his vehicle and quickly brought the cat to safety. The driver and his friends observed that the cat had a collar, was frail, and had crusty eyes and mucus.

They contacted SPCA and our operations executive (Mohan) arrived at the scene shortly after. After an initial assessment, Mohan brought the cat back for treatment and tried to locate the owner.

Eventually, we discovered that this senior cat was taken care of by community caregivers and had probably wandered off!
