Meet Our Fantastic Black Felines!

As part of #BlackCatAppreciationMonth this August, we introduced you to four fantastic black felines who helped us bust some of the unhelpful myths that damage their chances of finding a home.

🖤 You met Chaaim who survived a cruel attack and proved that black cats aren’t unlucky.

🖤 You also met Nutto whose sweet and charming nature defied the myth that black cats are evil.

🖤 There was Wowthree who used his best moves to demonstrate that black cats can stand out from the crowd.

🖤 And then there was Banburi who stepped in front of the lens to show that black cats are photogenic.

We hope you’ve enjoyed getting to know them.

Sadly, Chaaim, Nutto, Wowthree and Banburi represent just a fraction of the black cats at our shelter. Cats who have been overlooked time and time again. So today, we thought we’d give some of our other amazing mini panthers their time in the spotlight.

Despite having so much to offer, these kitties have been at the shelter from anywhere between 173 and 474 days. If you can offer one of them a home, please get in touch at adoptions@soidog.org. They will be furrever grateful.
