其实当初救援、载他送医治疗时，狗狗就会凶人了，手术后因为疼痛，他似乎更凶了 … 只要触碰到他的身体，善志就会开始低吼咆哮，似乎还不知道大家是在帮助它的 😞

希望这个温暖的名字，可以让善志慢慢放下对人类的戒心，变得温和、善良

他真的非常非常瘦，也有年纪了

目前已经出院回园区休养

希望善志加油! 好好休养，等他长胖了、更健壮了，再和大家更新他的近况 💪🐶

园区每一天所接获的求救真的非常、非常多，负责人简直像电话接线员一样 … 每天面对排山倒海来的求助，她自己也很无奈、无助

This broken leg doggie was successfully amputated. Grateful that his surgical site is healing well 🙏💪

Thank you for helping us to name him, we decided to name the dog ‘’Shan Zhi’’. (means goodwill)

In fact, when the dog was rescued and sent to the vet clinic for treatment, he was quite aggressive. After the surgery, he seemed even more fierce because of the pain … As long as we touched his body, Shanzhi would start to growl and mad. He didn’t know that everyone is trying to help him 😞

We hope this warm name can make Shanzhi slowly let go of his wariness of humans and become gentle and kind.

He is really very thin and malnourished, is an old dog too.

Shanzhi has been discharged from the clinic and returned to our shelter for rehabilitation.

Stay strong Shanzhi. We will update about him with everyone again when he gains weight and becomes stronger 💪🐶

The requests for help received by our shelter every day are enormous. Our person in charge is as if like a telephone operator … Faced with overwhelming requests for help every single day, she herself is helpless too.

We really hope that everyone understands that the shelter’s ability has actually reached the utmost limit with more than 3,000 furkids to care for in the shelter.

But we are still willing to stand on the front line and see what we can do to help. We sincerely hope that the public will not force us to take in or rescue with a rude attitude.

Homeless & Orphan Pets Exist (H.O.P.E.) is a non-profit organization and no-kill shelter that aims to improve welfare of strays and abandoned pets around Johor Bahru, Malaysia.

Our four core missions are rescuing, re-homing, sterilization and increasing public awareness of pet ownership and responsibilities. Currently, we are caring for approximately 700 abandoned animals in our shelter located at Lima Kedai.
