SPCA CLINIC: CAT WITH FACE WOUND

A kind community caregiver spotted this 5-year old cat with a face wound in Jurong West. 🤕 He was then brought to SPCA to have his wound stitched up.

#Vetfact: Did you know that surgical wounds are often bigger than original wounds? This is due to ‘surgical debridement’ — the removal of unhealthy and infected body tissue before stitching up, to improve wound healing.

This handsome man has since made a full recovery and was released at the location where he was found! 😺
