Shy little Snooze was given the chance to be happy!

Snooze was brought into the Soi Dog’s shelter in 2017. It was quite clear from her skittish demeanor that she had suffered some form of trauma during her time on the streets. A year later, she was lucky enough to have been picked up by our partner rescue, The Barking Lot in the USA. Upon her arrival, she caught the attention and affection of a volunteer with her sweet personality. But given her past, Snooze was incredibly timid in new settings and it took her a very long time to trust and be comfortable around new people.

She was placed into a foster home on Valentine’s Day 2020, and slowly gained confidence with her foster brother by her side. Eventually, her forever family discovered her on Instagram and it was love at first sight 😍. Her new parents are extremely patient and could see past her scars and shyness. Snooze now has a number of adoptive animal siblings including a dog sister and cat brother. Together, they continue to grow as a family.

Snooze is a great example of how the quieter and shyer dogs can thrive once they leave the shelter.
