Running A Sanctuary And Half-Way-Home Is Financial..

Running a sanctuary and half-way-home is financially draining. There are staff allowances, utilities and rentals to pay for in addition to food and veterinary bills. One way we can find a little help is to get our dogs sponsored. Under the sponsorship programme, one person or family can sponsor any number of dogs they want to. It is RM60 for an able-bodied dog and RM100 for a disabled dog. We will be conducting a sponsorship programme this Sunday and we hope at least some of our dogs will get sponsors. The sponsorship programme also allows you to have a pet which does not live with you. Many of our dogs, able bodied and disabled, will be at the event this Sunday. Please help us give them a lifeline.

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
