She was abandoned. She was lost and on her own.

Yollie was spotted in a local national park near Soi Dog Foundation’s shelter in Phuket, Thailand. We had never seen her before, and she seemed distressed and unfamiliar with the area. She didn’t know where she was or how to find food, water or shelter. It was clear she had been cruelly abandoned.

When Yollie arrived at Soi Dog, she was painfully thin and extremely dehydrated. On top of that, the vets discovered she had a dangerous blood parasite and heart disease. To read more about Yollie, please visit our website: https://links.soidog.org/help-abandoned-dogs-like-yollie

The Covid-19 crisis is having a devastating impact not only on homeless animals but on loyal pets like Yollie too. Heartbreakingly, we are seeing a significant increase in the number of abandoned pets at this time. These animals, just like Yollie, have nobody. With so much uncertainty still ahead, we fear this trend of abandonment is only going to increase.

The very thought of not being able to help dogs like Yollie is unacceptable but, without you, we simply cannot continue to take in abandoned, injured and sick animals. Please be there for dogs like Yollie: https://links.soidog.org/help-abandoned-dogs-like-yollie
