Trenall celebrated her 10th year with her new family! 🎂
Sweet Trenall was sadly overlooked time and time again. She spent over three and a half years at Soi Dog shelter before she was finally adopted. After Trenall was featured in our black dog campaign, her adopter, Ed, who has been helping our partner rescue, Pawsitive Match Rescue Foundation, saw her and fell in love. He reached out to our adoptions team when he saw a tweet about her on our twitter, @SoiDogPhuket.
She journeyed to Canada earlier this year and now celebrating her 10th birthday with her furever family, which includes Mella and Alexa, two rescues from Mexico. Trenall, renamed Trinity, is living her #furrytailending she truly deserved.
“Trinity is doing just amazing, and has from the start. She is so calm and curious, she has made herself at home and part of the Pack. She is besties with Mella, and made a tremendous impact on her settling in too! Since Trinity got here, Mella has grown more confident and is happier and braver.
Physically, Trinity is doing great! She passed her vet check very well, the issues she came with are essentially gone. She is energetic and lively, and usually leads the walks with her aggressive pace. She does sleep more than the others, but is always up for walkies or yard time. She spends lots of time in the yard, sitting on the patio and watching the neighborhood.
Despite being the biggest eater (Alexa is on a diet), she has slimmed down well, and her fur is getting softer and shinier every day!
From the pictures, you can see Trinity at her 10th birthday party 🎉. She even got a birthday wish from Trinity’s handsome tweetheart Duke (a very sweet 15-year-old who lives in Hawaii).
I couldn’t be happier with how well Trinity has fit in, from day one, she has been a positive influence on our family. She is loving and sweet without being overly needy, she is calm and gentle with everyone and she is very well behaved.”
