A few of the ones that did not make it. (Photo taken today by Khun Bee). The floods interrupted our efforts to stop the trade. We are now back fighting it. Over 6,000 dogs intercepted in past 2 weeks. We are doing all we can but need funds to combat it. We know of at least 4,000 that were not intercepted despite authorities being informed. We are dealing with highly organised criminals who are making millions of dollars from the trade and are able to bribe corrupt officials. John is currently in Bangkok working on it, but it is extremely dangerous work. We cannot report much of what is happening at this time and may never be able to reveal some of it. But your support is needed if we are to stop it, both monetary and your voices. Please share and protest to Thai, Laos and Vietnamese embassies. The trade is illegal if only because of livestock export and import regulations. The problem is the smugglers know that what is news today will be forgotten tomorrow.Source: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=309363232438752&set=a.137025779672499.11141.108625789179165&type=1
