Sitthichai is known as the ole’ gentle giant. The story of how he came to Soi Dog, however, is not one for the fainthearted. Read his sad story here: links.soidog.org/get-to-know-rescuedog-Sitthichai

One of Soi Dog’s animal rescue officers found Sitthichai at a fish market with a missing paw and a terrible open fracture to what remained of his leg. Infection had set in and he was barely able to walk. Sadly, Sitthichai’s leg was beyond saving and our vets had to amputate it.

After his recovery, Sitthichai still loves a good run; slow enough as in not to add pressure on his legs but fast enough that his chocolate brown ears flap up and down.
