SOS. SOS. SOS. Polly was picked-uo by a well known shelter in 2018 after she was found sitting in a puddle without moving for a couple of days. Because a kind hearted person wanted Polly to have a second chance instead of being euthanised, she called us. We admitted Polly at Gasing where they operated on her and removed a mass. However, they told us that she had some excess tissue at the site of the mass which cannot be removed. The mass started growing and when we took her back, we were told it is harmless. The mass raptured today and Polly started bleeding profusely. We rushed her to the vet where they stopped the bleeding and allowed her to relax. Surgery will be done tomorrow. Clinic wants a deposit of at least RM1,000 and we reckon surgery and hospitalisation will require at least another RM1,000. Polly needs urgent help, please help us help Polly. Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
