MY TWO LOVERS

I guess I must be the luckiest man in the world. I have two lovers at the same time, two whom I love tremendously, intensely. I would give my life away without a second thought if there is a need.

Just dont ask me whom I will save first.

My two lovers are different yet they share so many similarities.

One is a human and another is a female dog. Well, that’s about all how they are being different. They are so alike many a time I can’t tell one from the other. Like they are twins.

One bitches when I forget to do something she told me to, the other, well, naturally she is a bitch.

One is two legged, the other a four legged and both have hot legs but the thing is they don’t move much.

One can’t cook at all and the other is struggling to cook. So, I end up cooking and put the food on the table. But funny thing is both don’t eat at the table, one takes her food to the couch and eyes glued to the TV, the other I have to bring the food to her. You start to wonder who is who, right? Well you can’t tell, even I can’t tell because sometimes they reverse their roles.

Both look at me with adoring eyes when they want something. But will quickly turn away when I make them angry.

Both also bark, almost simultaneously when I come home late, sometimes I wonder do they plan it beforehand because their lines sound so rehearsed, you know what I mean. One would bark and the other growl, they take turns. All just because I went out for a few more hours.

At the end of day, I just want a nice bed to sleep in, and I wouldn’t be able to find a spot many a night especially when I come home late.

Whatever it is, I still love them so so much.

Just dont ask me whom I love more, don’t ask me to choose one out of my two lovers.

Second Chance is a group of like-minded animal lovers who met through the Internet when they read of Aunty Kiew's plight.

They do their very best to render help whenever time permits and within their limited capacities. They hope to find good homes for as many homeless animals as possible. Currently, there are 100+ animals rescued and fostered by this group.
