We�re Down To 3rd Place Now�need To Get Creative!!

If we want to win, we’re going to need all your help, folks.

HI Dr Chan! i was meant to email you because i am bit concern that we might lose if we don’t do anything fast. We are now down to 3rd place and i have tried my absolute best to share it on overseas animal rescue sites but didn’t get much response. Would you be able to create an event on AnimalCare FB page and invite all your supporters to vote for you? also ask them to do the same and invite their friends too. There are more than 1000 supporters that liked your page and say if 100 of them each invites 10 of their friends than we will have 1000 votes. I know is hard to even get 50 of them to vote although there are 1000 of them but we just have to try whatever we can to get more votes. The other suggestion i have is to have your volunteers or anyone is willing to help to set up a desk at shopping malls with a laptop to get votes from the general public. Again i will cost money to have a space at shopping malls in Malaysia. My other suggestion is to approach all pet shops and negotiate with them to see whether they will allow you to stand outside or have a desk setup outside their premises to ask their patrons to vote for you. Or even schools. I don’t know about you relationship with MDDB. Do u think you can ask Shamimi to help you as they have more supporters? I have already asked H.O.P.E animal shelter in Jb to help and they did post it once on their FB site and we did receive few votes. I really don’t know how it works with animal rescue groups in Malaysia. If we could all work together to make this dream a reality that will be great but i also aware that it would be rather selfish to ask them for help if they didn’t get any benefits out of this. Having said that, it shouldn’t be what will will get out of it, it should be all about the animals. We can still make it if we do something now otherwise it will be very hard for us to catch up. I wish all the animal lovers in Malaysia could be united to make this dream a reality. I will never give up hope and will keep sharing till the end. Regarding the category, it was just an option that i chose while submitting the dream as they didn’t have any other suitable category under animal charity. So nothing to worry about here. Let me know if there is anything i can help. Other charities and causes are worthwhile. Is a shame that animal causes are not elevated to the same status and after all we are the one that mistreat them.
