My name’s Kolui and I’m worth your love ❣

When I first arrived at Soi Dog, I wasn’t shining so bright. I’d been hit by a car, and the impact had snapped my right hind leg in half. It was a heavy price to pay for not having a loving owner to look after me. The bone had pierced through the skin, and infection had already set in, so to prevent septicemia the vets amputated without delay.

Now I’m part of the three-legged club here at the shelter, or the “tripawd troop”. Together we’re breaking stigmas and proving that we’ve got just as much to offer as any of our four-legged friends. I have to take it easy when I’m exercising, but I bet I could still give them a run for their money if I had the chance.

Although I’m nearly always smiling, I know I’d be much happier out of the shelter and in a home of my own. I can’t wait to learn to do all the things that doggies with families do, like playing fetch and tug of war. I’ve heard extra good boys get bones and treats to chew on.
