Isha was rescued in Sept 2015 after we received a late night SOS about two dogs that were slashed in Sungai Besi. Apparently Isha and her brother were forraging for food at the temple premise when they were shooed away and slashed. Isha’s brother died on the spot and Isha had a gapping wound on her side with her spleen exposed. She underwent sugery and healed well. In spite of her trauma, she emerged a loving doggo. We managed to rehome her in the United States a year later and Isha is currently living the American dream.

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
