ADOPTION SPOTLIGHT: April

April is a 13-year old Shih Tzu who was rescued by SPCA’s Inspectorate. Due to neglect in her previous home, she was in constant pain from a badly infected paw and eye. In SPCA, she underwent major surgeries to remove a leg and an eye. Thanks to the medical attention given by our clinic team and her loving fosterer, this old dame made a stunning recovery!

She enjoys snoozing, eating and belly rubs. She is not demanding and will quietly take her naps and happily munch on fruit and veggies. She may be blind but you can’t hide a piece of apple from her!

April has a fear of thunder, and would run around in panic during thunderstorms. She would do best in a family where someone is always around to comfort her during fearful times.

Despite her past sufferings, she remains affectionate and is always ready for a snuggle. Well in her golden years, she is more than ready to spend the rest of her time with a loving family.
