Her Dog Has Been Living Homeless for 1 Year
_______________________
Today we’re initiating some networking to rescue this dog who has been left on his own for a full year since his human “mom” died.
“He’s near my work near the Corpus Christi airport at a gas station,” Steve Stevens said. “According to the gas clerk, he’s been there close to a year since the elderly woman passed away. Yes, food and water regularly. And by the grace of God, he recognizes me now so I can touch him, no problem at all. I work graveyard shift, so I see him once at night then in the morning when I head home. I stop both times.”
“Praise sweet God, hope!” Steve exclaimed when he received an answer from Harmony Fund to say that we would try to help. “We’ve been trying to find a no kill shelter around Corpus Christi that will take in the dog we found, but we can’t even get a reply, so discouraging. We are even willing to pay for his vet exam, shots and care and still no response. Thank you sincerely for even replying. We can’t keep him as we already have 4 of our own and live in a strict HOA area.”
Stay tuned as the wheels of rescue begin to turn for this dog who is long overdue to sleep in a bed of his own again. Don’t worry dear dog. We’re coming for you!
