Do You Need A Friend To Talk To? Im All Ears. Ever..

Do you need a friend to talk to? I’m all ears!

Everyone loves my enormous ears and panda eyes. My name is Scip, and I’m a truly unique boy looking for a happy home I can learn and grow in. https://links.soidog.org/adopt-scip-soidogrescue

Soi Dog rescued me and my three sisters from the streets of Thailand after we were abandoned at just two months old. We used to be a family of eight, but sadly a pack of territorial dogs got hold of our four other siblings. I was one of the lucky ones who survived.

With my tiny frame and huge, floppy ears, I looked a bit like Dobby the House Elf back then! You can see a photo below. (I like to think I was cuter though.)

In the safety of the shelter, I was treated for fleas and a hernia, vaccinated and neutered, and I’ve lived here ever since. Because of my past, I’m wary of new people and dogs, but I’m not one to cower away in the corner. I still love to explore, and I tentatively approach and sniff all visitors to my run. Slowly but surely, I’m growing in confidence.

I’m growing into my ears too, and these big radars are proving very useful. I find out all of the shelter gossip, and I can hear the rustling of food from a mile away! I haven’t heard anything about a potential family for me yet, but I will keep my paws crossed and keep listening out.

Hopefully it won’t be long. I’m a calm and patient boy, but my tail is already wagging just thinking about someone choosing me and the adventures that would follow. Will you be that someone? https://links.soidog.org/adopt-scip-soidogrescue
