FIRST VIRTUAL SCHOOL HOLIDAY PROGRAMME – A BIG THANK YOU!

Thank you to all the parents/guardians and kids for joining our #virtual #schoolholiday programme conducted last week. We were thrilled to host and witness highly enthusiastic individuals.

A big round of virtual applause for everyone who participated for the activities and asking questions during the virtual tour. We are glad that many enjoyed the behind-the-scenes action, and gave some very good suggestions to improve our programme.

Here are some photos of the impressive participants in action, and most importantly some of the very touching pledges the participants made for the animals:

- No more glue traps

- Won’t keep exotic animals as pets

- No littering

- Use less resources

- More plant-based diet

- Saying No to Sharks fin soup and Kopi luwak/Civet coffee

- Observe and appreciate nature more

- Not to bring baby animals home, and call ACRES for advise

- Giving space for wildlife during encounters

We will be bringing back the virtual tours again shortly, to continue our outreach work.
