What Would Abaska Do?. Here At The Shelter, They H..

What would Abaska do?

Here at the shelter, they have a phrase: “What would Abaska do?” or “WWAD?” This came about because, despite everything I’ve been through, I’ve held onto my sunny outlook on life, and it inspires the humans every day.

When I first arrived at Soi Dog in October 2019, I had a maggot-infested wound on my right front leg. It was so deep you could see the bones in my paw, and the infection almost sent me into septic shock. On top of this, I was battling anaemia and a nasty parasitic disease called heartworm. But I never gave up. And after amputation surgery, treatment and plenty of rest, I’m now happier and healthier than ever.

These days, you’re likely to find me taking a gentle stroll around the shelter, charming visitors to my run with my cute whiskers. Whatever I’m up to, my tail is sure to be wagging almost constantly.

Finding a forever home would be a dream come true, so I hope you choose me: https://links.soidog.org/abaska-is-waiting-for-you
