Our handsome boy Prince had some problems with his eye. Brought to the vet and treated. Prince is a happy boy now. Prince was rescued about 9 years ago. One of our friends spotted a mother dog laying dead along a highway near Sg Besi and beside her was a puppy about 3 months old. She managed to stop her car and get to the puppy but he ran into some bushes and she could not find the fellow. A couple of weeks later, she saw the puppy laying in the same spot where his mother was laying dead previously. He was seriously injured. She carried him and brought him to us. What followed was a series of surgeries. Currently, the only reminder of the trauma is Prince’s funny legs which makes him walk a little strangely.

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
