Maeploy A.k.a Big Sis

We are featuring an amazing family this week as part of our #nopawsleftbehind month.

Four beautiful girls who struggled on the streets of Phuket with varying degrees of blindness: The Mae family.

Today we want you to meet Maeploy a.k.a Big sis whose name translates into gem stone, in Thai is the most independent out of them all. The rest of the family sometimes rely on her to guide them on walks. She can see much better than the others which makes her more confident.

Don’t be fooled because even though we call her the responsible sister, as well know with big sisters, they can also be a lot of fun. She can be lively and silly at times.

We hope Maeploy will be able to find a home of her own, very soon.

Even though, Maeploy acts like a guiding star to the rest of the family, they are all now ready to find homes of their own.

Of course, if you think you can adopt a pair of them together, we would love that but, it’s time for each and every one of them to spread their wings and find their own destiny.

Please get in touch with our adoptions team today to find out more about Meaploy and the rest of her family.
