Dr Lian is performing surgery on Daphne now. Our volunteer visited the young doggo before surgery just now. According to the vet, the surgery today will start from the radius ulna fracture and move to the back on the femur fracture and distal tibia fracture. She will complete all three surgeries if the anesthetic is stable. They did a final blood test on Daphne which indicated she is slightly anemic but still okay for the surgery. We have blood donors on stand-by in the event there is major blood loss during surgery.

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
