Introducing The Adorable 'Mae' Family!

 



🌟 Dogs of the week 🌟

This week, we have a very captivating family of dogs to introduce you to: the Mae family. Interestingly, all four of their names begin with “Mae” which translates to “mother” in Thai. However, there is only one mummy dog among them, Maepetch, and the rest are her daughters, Maethong, Maeploy and Maengern. All four dogs are unique in their own special way, even down to their names which are inspired by different types of gemstones.

Soi Dog’s animal rescue officers found them struggling to survive on the streets of Phuket, Thailand. Their eyes were inflamed, and they were suffering from varying degrees of blindness. They were rushed to Soi Dog’s hospital immediately for emergency treatment.

We will be featuring the Mae family throughout the last week of May as part of our #nopawsleftbehind month. This will allow you to get to know their stories along with their individual shining personalities.
