Daphne, the accident victim rescued from Shah Alam, has been safely transfered from Gasing to Lian Clinic in Meru. She has suffered

3 fractures and needs – tarsacrural luxation repair, femur fracture repair, and radius-ulnar fracture repair.The cost of the surgery is high and the reason given is that due to the intensity of the fractures, high skill surgery with imported implants are needed. The three fracture sites also needs intensive post-operation care at the vet. Dr Lian has said she will keep cost at a minimal but said it will come somewhere between RM12,000 to RM15,000. Daphne is between seven months to a year old. Option given is to either go ahead with the surgery or euthanise the pupper. As usual, we choose to save her life. We won’t be raising funds for Daphne as Segar will be transfering Cheras Boy’s funds for her surgery. Thank you all again.

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
