The campaign, organised in tandem with the Malaysian Animal Welfare Association (Mawa) and a group of concerned citizens from the Miri Humane Society, aims to inculcate kindness towards animals and stop cruel treatment towards these creatures.
Pet shops were also urged to keep animals in humane conditions.
