“We teach them various recipes in class. The children can bake the four types of cookies (almond chocolate, walnut almond, chocolate chip and cornflakes) almost perfectly so we only open orders for these four types.

We are not focused on making business, but see it as a long-term, self-sustainable programme for the students and they are proud of their own initiative.”



KUANTAN: The aroma of cookies fresh from the oven filled the Kuantan branch of the National Autism Society of Malaysia’s (Nasom) premises.
